Introduction

Below you will find the Privacy Statement of Inventive Games VOF (hereinafter "Inventive Games" or "we"). In the following Privacy Statement we inform you about the purposes for which Inventive Games processes personal data and what rights you have as a data subject.

Inventive Games does not process personal data other than those listed in the Privacy Statement.

The following Privacy Statement applies to the personal data of data subjects that are in any way related to Inventive Games. The terminology used in the Privacy Statement is taken from the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: the GDPR).

Processing of your personal data

Inventive Games processes your personal data only if there is a legitimate purpose and the processing can be based on a legal ground. It depends on your relationship with Inventive Games which personal data is processed, for what purpose and on what legal grounds.

The overviews below specify for each category which personal data Inventive Games processes in which cases. Also included is the legal ground on which the processing is based and what retention periods we use for the personal data:

Sales games B2C

Inventive Games offers the game ´DataBoss´ through its website, Bol.com, stores and partners. Individuals can purchase the game through these avenues. This Privacy Statement relates to orders placed through the Inventive Games website. If the game is purchased elsewhere, their Privacy Statement applies.

Sales games B2B

In addition to individuals, Inventive Games also sells the game to B2B customers. B2B customers have the possibility to order the game customized to their wishes.

Inventive Games offers interactive and informative beginner or refresher master classes on privacy and the GDPR.

Explanation of legal base consent

If consent is required from the data subject to process his/her personal data, such consent is granted for a specific purpose. If you wish to withdraw your consent afterwards, this is possible. You can direct your mail to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@inventivegames.nl. If you have withdrawn your consent we will retain your personal data for a maximum of one month.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Inventive Games does not process special and / or sensitive personal data. Inventive Games only records data from the companies and contact persons as named in the statements above.

Retention period personal data

Inventive Games retains your personal data in accordance with legal retention periods. Your personal data are not kept longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected. In the overviews above you can find what retention periods apply for the relevant purposes.

Collection of personal data

Inventive Games will collect your personal data in several ways:

• When you as an individual place an order (or request for a game) with Inventive Games;
• When you place an order (or request a game) with Inventive Games as an enterprise;
• When you register via the website for an AVG master class;
• When you contact us by phone; 

As a data subject, you decide if you provide your personal data to Inventive Games. If you have provided your personal data to Inventive Games in the past, but no longer wish to do so, please contact privacy@inventivegames.nl at any time. We cannot offer or provide certain services without being in possession of your personal data.

Sharing of personal data

In certain cases, a legal obligation requires us to provide your data to third parties. Inventive Games only provides your personal data to third parties if there is a legal obligation or if this is necessary to provide the service.

Rights of data subjects

If Inventive Games processes personal data about you, as a data subject you have a number of rights that you can invoke. If you wish to invoke any of your rights, please direct your request to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@inventivegames.nl.

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

• Right of inspection: As a data subject, you have the right to inspect the personal data processed by Inventive Games. If you wish, you can submit a request for inspection;
• Right to rectification: You have the right to rectify and supplement incorrect data if necessary. If you wish we can remove incorrect information and if necessary restore it with correct information;
• Right to object: In certain situations you can object to the processing of your personal data;
• Right to data portability: You have the right to transfer data. You can request your personal data from Inventive Games. We will ensure that you receive your data digitally and structured;
• Right to be forgotten: In certain situations you have the right to "be forgotten". This means that we remove all (possibly) personal data from you.
• Right to restriction: In some situations you have the right to (temporarily) restrict data processing.

Security of your personal data

In order to optimally protect your personal data, Inventive Games provides appropriate and organizational measures. Inventive Games ensures that your personal data can only be seen by a limited number of people and that the data is secured with a locked account. Through the mentioned security measures we prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification of your personal data.

Automated decision-making

Inventive Games does not use automated decision making and/or profiling.

Sharing outside the EEA

Inventive Games does not intend to share your personal data with processors that are not based in the European Union. However, should this happen in an exceptional case, additional agreements will be made with Inventive Games to ensure that they can offer the same privacy safeguards to its data subjects at all times.

Cookies

Inventive Games uses Cookies on a number of applications on its website. Cookies are used to store your preferences for displaying the website. Inventive places only functional cookies, this does not require consent. The cookies are not used to create a profile about website visitors or to track website visitors. No cookies are placed from third parties.
